⭐️ Rating: 9.0 out of 10 | ✅ Amenities: Outdoor swimming pool, free parking, free wifi, fitness center | 🏞️ Book now
The Holiday Inn Express Springdale one is probably the most basic of any you’ll see on this list, but it’s comfortable and convenient to Zion.
Each room has a minifridge and blackout shades (which is amazing for those of us who would rather sleep in). They do offer suites, but the suites aren’t that different from a regular room aside from a separate living area. Rooms start at $123 a night. It’s pet-friendly.

Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort
⭐️ Rating: 8.6 out of 10 | ✅ Amenities: Outdoor swimming pool, free parking, room service, free wifi, spa/wellness center | 🏞️ Book now
Another glamping-style lodge, this wonderful resort features a variety of accommodations at varying levels of fancy—from full-size vacation homes to tent sites and everything in between.
Types of sites include full-size vacation homes, with all the amenities you might expect of one; cabins, which are smaller, with more rustic decor, but still feature plumbing, heat and a/c, and a kitchenette; “cowboy cabins,” which are smaller, one-room affairs with electricity but no plumbing; glamping tents, which feature beds inside of a permanent canvas tent and communal bathrooms, but no facilities; regular tent sites; and covered wagons, which feature similar accommodations to the glamping tents, but hey, it’s a covered wagon.
This resort features a whole host of activities, from guided hikes to pickleball, two restaurants, and a complimentary breakfast. Rates start at $30 a night for a tent side and go up to $200 a night for vacation homes, making it one of the cheapest places to stay near Zion National Park.
It’s fairly far away from Zion Canyon compared to other hotels on this list (about 20 minutes), but has its own shuttle (separate from the park system’s shuttle) that will take you to some lesser-known trailheads, and as a bonus, you get to go through the majestic Zion-Mt. Carmel Tunnel every time you drive to the valley.

⭐️ Rating: 9.1 out of 10 | ✅ Amenities: Free wifi, free parking, restaurant | 🏞️ Book now
This sustainable, eco-friendly—and just plain gorgeous resort features a smattering of small vacation homes for rent. Each one is distinct, with its own decor, views, and yard.
They have both cabins and lodges for rent; both are completely detached from each other, so if you like solitude, this is the place to be.
The lodges are more glamorous and spacious; you’ll feel like you have your own little mountain mansion. Cabins are more basic, and some of them might not have kitchens; however, all units do feature indoor plumbing.
Some of the lodges feature a hot tub—perfect for a romantic getaway. The resort prides itself on its sustainable organic restaurant and features a herd of bison roaming the grounds.
There’s no pool, but they do have guided hikes, Jeep tours, and horseback rides. It’s five minutes from (the east entrance to) Zion, and rates start at $230 a night. It’s a steal for the price, and definitely one of the best hotels near Zion National Park.

As you might expect, it’s a bit more on the pricier side, but it’s well worth it. Rooms start at $250 a night for the poolside accommodations and go up to $280 for the riverside ones. Most of these are located fairly close to the park, but this is the only offering on our list that’s actually located within the park. There’s a main hotel with cabins surrounding it. Cabins and suites come with a minifridge, but hotel rooms do not.
The main building doesn’t have any elevators; if someone in your party does need an elevator, make sure you get a ground-floor room or rent a cabin. There’s no pool here, but who needs one when the entire park is right out your window?
Rooms start at $179 a night and can go up during busy season.
