Not to make this all about me, but I absolutely love this Aspen bed and breakfast! I booked a night at the Mountain Chalet Aspen during my Colorado and Utah road trip in October 2021, and it was a beautiful place to stay.
The location is terrific, as it’s located right in the center of downtown Aspen. Seriously, guests who stay here can easily explore the rest of this mountain town by foot. There’s ample parking underneath the hotel, and breakfast is included in the mornings with all the fixings.
Rooms at Mountain Chalet Aspen feel cozy and like they belong in a lodge, with exposed wood beams on the ceilings. Many of the rooms also offer a private balcony that overlooks the mountains or the small town.

First up is one of the best Aspen bed and breakfasts, St Moritz Lodge and Condominiums. This budget-friendly accommodation is open year-round, making it a perfect place to stay whether you’re visiting in summer or winter.
It’s located right near Shadow Mountain, a short drive from Aspen Ski Mountain and downtown Aspen. The property has tons of superb facilities, including a swimming pool (it’s heated in winter), free wifi, and a continental buffet breakfast in the mornings.
The rooms here are charming but basic, with all the amenities a traveler could want. Rooms have warm lighting and maroon accents reminiscent of Aspen’s beauty. There are setting areas, a desk, a refrigerator, and a television with cable channels.

The Gant

For a more luxurious bed and breakfast in Aspen, stay at The Gant. It’s right by the foot of Aspen Mountain, making it perfect for people who will be visiting there during their stay. It’s also near the Silver Queen Gondola, Mill Street Fountain, and John Denver Sanctuary.
The rooms are super luxurious yet have that Aspen vibe to them still, with wooden accents throughout. Rooms come with private balconies, a kitchen with a stove and dishwasher, a fireplace, and more. It’s everything you’d ever need from any of the Aspen bed and breakfasts.
Of course, what’s included doesn’t end there! Everyone who stays at The Gant has access to American breakfast, five tennis courts, a fitness center, and a bar. Breakfast is served at the Pepperjack Cafe on-site, which also has coffee, alcoholic beverages, and lunch.

Located right in Snowmass Village, Wildwood Snowmass is one of the top Aspen bed and breakfasts. It’s a 3-star accommodation that has a traditional chalet-like architectural style, yet it also feels super modern at the same time.
The property is filled with many outstanding facilities that will make your stay there super comfortable. There’s a heated outdoor pool, on-site restaurant and bar, spa and wellness center, hot tub, and storage spaces for snowboard or ski equipment.
The restaurant and bar are totally awesome. One of them is the Double Black Noodle Bar which serves ramen and other Japanese dishes. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from The Bar.
The rooms are modern and colorful with jewel tones to add some depth. Rooms have wifi, housekeeping, and more. Nearby are some other restaurants like Venga Venga and Starbucks, the Village Express ski lift, and Snowmass Mountain.

Aspen Mountain Lodge

Aspen Mountain Lodge is another of the bed and breakfasts that are open year-round! It’s within walking distance from Aspen Mountain, so the location is perfect. It’s also right by the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, Shadow Mountain, the Aspen Art Museum, and the Maroon Lake Scenic Trail.
The rooms are super bright with wooden bed frames that feel like they belong inside of a log cabin or chalet. They also have lots of windows that offer great views of the area. Rooms include a flat screen tv, air conditioning, and tea/coffee maker.
Of course, excellent facilities can also be found right at the property. There’s a swimming pool, ski equipment storage, business center, shared lounge, parking, and luggage storage. It’s a reasonably popular place to stay among couples who visit the area, but it can also work perfectly for solo travelers or families!

The Little Nell

The 5-star luxurious bed and breakfast, The Little Nell, is located a short walk from the Aspen Art Museum. From the outside, it looks like a classic Swiss chalet, transporting guests to Europe!
The property is well-known for having some of the best access to the slopes. You can even ski right to the door in winter! There’s also a swimming pool, spa, Italian restaurant called Element 47, an American bistro called Ajax Tavern, and a spa and wellness center.
The rooms are bright and comfortable with lots of neutral colors. Windows help to allow tons of natural light into the rooms, and there’s decorative art on the walls. Rooms have a docking station, minibar, and flat-screen television.

Annabelle Inn

The Annabelle Inn is one of the most picturesque bed and breakfasts in Aspen. It’s located right downtown and truly looks like it was built in Europe with its unique look. You’ll think you’re in Austria or Switzerland!
Rooms have everything a guest could want and have a traditional chalet atmosphere with exposed wood beams and unique bed frames. In each room, guests can find a cd player, television, and seating area.
Right by the hotel is the Little Nell ski lift. Guests at the property can enjoy free wifi, parking, and access to a courtyard with a fire pit and a beautiful garden area. There’s also a bit to see within walking distance, including the Aspen Carriage & Sleigh.

Hearthstone House
