Another excellent spot for Moab breakfast is Horsethief Coffee. This tiny cafe is a local restaurant at Moab Springs Ranch, and they serve local dishes from places like FMC Coffee and South Mountain Provisions. Plus, it’s located in a historic Moab landmark.

Gloria’s Corner Cafe offers gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options similar to other Moab breakfast spots. If you’re a late riser, don’t worry; breakfast is available until 2 p.m.
Sweet Cravings Bakery and Bistro

One of the most popular breakfast spots in Moab is the Moab Diner. The dinner opened back in the 1960s but was called Poor Boy Drive-Inn for quite a while as it served hamburgers for just 29 cents! Flash forward, and it became Grand Ice Cream Parlour in the 1970s and then Moab Diner in the 1990s.
Another local family now runs the diner, and even though the company has bounced around in ownership quite a lot, there are still remnants of its origin that can be seen inside. The interior still has classic booth-style seating!
For breakfast, the menu includes everything from pancakes to french toast and everything in between. For a real treat, order the green chili omelet to try a local delicacy. The diner even has its own signature green chili sauce that it uses!
Cafe and Lounge Italiano

The cafe’s inside is very quaint, but it’s exactly what you’d expect from a coffee shop. This cafe serves up locally roasted organic espresso and other fair trade coffees. Plus, they have some treats to go along with the coffee!

Moab Coffee Roasters is a great homestyle cafe to stop by for some coffee bright and early in the morning. They’re locally owned and roast their beans using a micro-roaster, and they truly put so much love into each and every cup of coffee.
With classic drinks like americano, espresso, macchiato, latte, mocha, and cappuccino, you really can’t go wrong with eating here. Plus, they have other drinks like bullet coffee, white mocha, chai tea, hot chocolate, and more!
If you’re not a coffee fan, don’t worry. There are other drinks like smoothies and organic tea chillers if you’d rather have something else. For a real treat, try to order their Italian soda, which comes with sparkling soda and your choice of syrup! You can choose from 22 different flavors.
Canyon Steak and Waffle House

A more unique breakfast place is the Canyon Steak and Waffle House! They are new to Moab’s Main Street area but have truly brought classic breakfast to the downtown area. There’s no better way to wake up than with fresh orange juice and breakfast!
For the most part, everything on the menu costs around $10 or less. There are fantastic breakfast dishes like omelets, cereals, steak and eggs, burritos, breakfast bowls, and more. There’s also a special kids menu for the picky little ones!

The Moab Garage Co serves breakfast the entire day and serves up everything from Croque monsieur to breakfast burritos. For a sweet treat that will make you feel like you’re in Belgium, try the Liege Waffle and add some toppings!
