The fourth and final installment in the spellbinding series from the irrepressible, #1 New York Times bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater.

All her life, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love's death. She doesn't believe in true love and never thought this would be a problem, but as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she's not so sure anymore.

As some of you may know, I have found it hard to push through this series. Literally, nothing ever happens… it just seems so slow-paced, yet the characters keep drawing me back to the book.

They’re just so intriguing and interesting that they keep me wanting more. Plus, Maggie Stiefvater’s writing style is absolutely angelic and poetic which makes me never want to put down anything she writes.

This book picked up exactly a week after the last, so not much more has happened. I don’t want to go into too much detail because I don’t want to spoil anything, but it did an excellent job concluding all of the open plot points from the whole series.

It may not have been my favorite conclusion I’ve ever read, but it was still good and kept my heart pounding through the second half of the book.

Needless to say, I suggest checking out this series if you haven’t already. You may find it boring at times, but you’re going to want to stick it through because of the characters involved.

  1. I have to admit that I loooovvve this series, even though I haven't read the last installment yet. One of my out of town friends borrowed it – like 8 months ago – and I'm still waiting to get it back. 🙂
