(Last Updated On: November 27, 2021)Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.
Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning author John Green's most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.
Cover Review: I really like this cover. I love blue! I also really like how the font looks like chalk.
Main Character(s): Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster
I absolutely loved this book. As I’ve said in past reviews, I’m not always the biggest contemporary fan. This was my first John Green book and I can’t wait to read more by him. Hazel was diagnosed with cancer as was Augustus. Augustus seems to be perfectly fine while it seems as if everyone finds it a miracle that Hazel is still alive.
I absolutely loved how there were many twists in this book. Especially the totally unexpected twist at the end! I was definitely not prepared for what happened.
My favorite character would have to be Augustus. He was hilarious and I love how he spoke. He was just an excellent character all around. I wish there were more Augustus’ in literature! I read this book pretty fast as I could just not put it down.
