Fourteen-year-old Maximum Ride and the other members of the "Flock" -- Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman and Angel -- are just like ordinary kids -- only they have wings and can fly.
After their last wild adventure, the Flock members are taken under the wing of an FBI agent and try to live "normal" lives by going to school, making friends -- and continuing their relentless search for their parents. But the Erasers return, forcing the Flock to abandon their search and make their escape once again. The voice inside Max's head keeps telling her that it's up to her to save the world, but this is especially challenging to do when she is faced with her ultimate match: a newer and better version of herself, Maximum Ride II. Max's heart-stopping quest to investigate the mind-blowing mystery of her ultimate destiny continues in the scariest, strangest, and funniest James Patterson novel yet.
This is a sequel, so it will most likely contain spoilers for book one.
In the second novel of the Maximum Ride series, the flock stays with an FBI agent because one of the flock is injured by Ari They think that it’s all fun and games. A month full of relaxation. They were enjoying it until the FBI agent told them that she signed them up for school.
Even worse, they have to wear uniforms. The flock is trying to stay under the radar, so going to school isn’t going to help them. Fang starts to fall in love with a girl with read hair, which makes Max really frustrated. Because of this, she goes on a date with a boy from her class. Things just get worse from there.
Max still has the magical voice talking to her. Who is the voice?
School’s Out Forever was just as good as The Angel Experiment. The characters were amazing, as always. I love how they are each unique and original. They’re also quite hilarious!
They’re always fun to read about. It wasn’t as full of adventure as the first book was, but it was still really good. I can’t wait to read the next one! Have you read this novel? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
