In MAXIMUM RIDE: SAVING THE WORLD AND OTHER EXTREME SPORTS, the time has arrived for Max and her winged "Flock" to face their ultimate enemy and discover their original purpose: to defeat the takeover of "Re-evolution", a sinister experiment to re-engineer a select population into a scientifically superior master race...and to terminate the rest. Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel have always worked together to defeat the forces working against them--but can they save the world when they are torn apart, living in hiding and captivity, halfway across the globe from one another?

This is the third book in a series, so it most likely contains spoilers for the first two books.

I absolutely loved this one even more than the first two. We see much more of Ari, which I really liked. Since his expiration date was seen, he’s going to die soon. Because of this, Max decides to take him under her wing. Now that Ari is in the Flock, the rest of the group isn’t that happy. They don’t understand why Max would want to help him after he tried to kill them numerous times.

The Flock splits up. Fang is in charge of one half, Max the other. Gazzy & Iggy go with Fang while Nudge, Angel, and Ari stay with Max. We get to see both of their adventures. I really like how Max decided to go to Europe.

This book was just as fun as the others. It was full of action, adventure, and humor. I can’t wait to see what the Flock gets itself into next!  Have you read this book? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
